President Revokes All Lebanon Aircraft Security Determinations
All prohibitions on aircraft to and from Lebanon are lifted, effective immediately per the September 30, 2026 presidential determination.

The President issued Presidential Determination No. 2026-25 on September 30, 2026, revoking Presidential Determination No. 85-14 of July 1, 1985, No. 92-41 of August 17, 1992, No. 98-32 of June 19, 1998, and No. 2007-22 of June 5, 2007. The revocations eliminate the underlying prohibitions that were intended to ensure the security of aircraft operating to or from Lebanon against unlawful seizure.
The memorandum, addressed to the Secretary of Transportation, directs immediate implementation of the revocation and the removal of any regulations, rules, or orders inconsistent with this determination. The Secretary is authorized and directed to publish the determination in the Federal Register.
The determination was filed as FR Doc 2026-20439 on October 2, 2026, at 11:15 a.m., and appeared in the Federal Register on October 5, 2026 (Vol. 91, No. 191, p. 63473). All referenced prohibitions are hereby revoked in their entirety, effective immediately.
