Cookie Policy

Last updated August 20, 2026

What cookies and similar technologies this website uses, what each kind is for, and how to control them.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site's operator.

This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage and pixels, which do comparable things.

The categories we use

CategoryWhat it doesCan you turn it off
Strictly necessaryMakes the website work: security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice and display preferences such as light or dark mode.No. The website cannot function properly without these.
AnalyticsTells us in aggregate how the website is used, such as which pages are read and how visitors arrive, so we can improve it.Yes.
FunctionalRemembers choices you make so you do not have to make them again.Yes.

Third party cookies

Some cookies are set by service providers we use, for example an analytics provider. Those providers handle the information they collect in line with their own privacy policies.

Embedded content from other websites, such as a video or a social media post, may set its own cookies. We do not control those cookies.

Managing cookies

When you first visit the website you can choose which non-essential categories to allow, and you can change that choice at any time from the same control.

Every major browser also lets you see the cookies stored on your device, delete them, and block them, either generally or for a particular website. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this and most other websites from working properly.

Do Not Track

There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to a Do Not Track browser signal, and this website does not currently respond to one. Where we are required to honour an opt out preference signal under applicable law, we do so.
