Treasury Schedules Public Meeting of Social Impact Partnerships Commission

The Department of the Treasury will hold a public meeting of the Commission on Social Impact Partnerships on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC. The meeting is open to the public, and the site is accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Members of the public who wish to attend must register by September 18, 2026, using the Treasury's registration link and must provide their name, title, and organizational affiliation. Registration requires ID.me verification. The meeting will also be livestreamed via Treasury's webcast; the webcast is for viewing only and will not be recorded, though minutes will be posted on the SIPPRA website.

During the session, Treasury staff will brief the Commission on three topics: the structure of the Social Impact Partnerships to Pay for Results Act (SIPPRA) program, an update on the forthcoming Notice of Funding Opportunity, and a status report on current SIPPRA awardees. The Commission, established under the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018, consists of nine members - eight appointed by congressional leadership and one appointed by the President, who serves as Chair.

The Treasury has invoked 41 CFR 102-3.150(b) to provide less than seven calendar days' notice, citing exceptional circumstances. The Department notes that the meeting date was previously communicated to Committee members, stakeholders, and the public, and that postponement would impose unnecessary costs and reduce participation. The meeting is intended primarily for an informational update and does not include deliberation or recommendation of funding decisions.
