The Securities and Exchange Commission has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget a request to extend the previously approved collection of information under Rule 30b1-7 and Form N-MFP (OMB Control No. 3235-0657). The notice, dated October 14, 2026, announces the extension and provides revised burden estimates.

Rule 30b1-7, issued under the Investment Company Act of 1940, requires every registered investment company regulated as a money market fund to file a monthly report of portfolio holdings on Form N-MFP no later than the fifth business day of each month. Filers must submit the report electronically through the Commission's EDGAR system in XML format.

The Commission estimates that 318 money market funds will file Form N-MFP. The internal burden per fund is calculated at 132 hours annually, using a blended wage rate of $459, resulting in an internal cost of $60,588 per fund. An external cost burden of $9,288 per fund is also estimated. Multiplying by 318 funds yields total annual internal hours of 41,976, internal cost of $19,266,984, and external cost of $2,953,584.

Compared with the previously approved figures, the annual number of responses is revised from 4,236 to 3,816 (a reduction of 420). The annual time burden is revised from 46,000 hours to 41,976 hours (a reduction of 4,024 hours). The cost burden is revised upward from $2,881,428 to $2,953,584, an increase of $72,156.

Comments on the information collection request must be submitted within 30 days of publication, by November 16, 2026, through the PRA website or by email. The notice is signed by Sherry R. Haywood, Assistant Secretary.
