Federal Reserve Opens Comment Period for Novus Capital Holding Company Application
Comments on Novus Capital Holdings' request to become a bank holding company must be filed by September 30 2026.

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System published a notice in the Federal Register (Vol. 91, No. 167, Monday, August 31, 2026, page 55854, FR Doc No: 2026-17754) announcing applications for formations, acquisitions, and mergers of bank holding companies under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 and Regulation Y.
The public portions of the applications listed in the notice, as well as any other required filings, are available for immediate inspection at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and at the Board's offices. The information may also be obtained on an expedited basis by contacting the appropriate Federal Reserve Bank or the Board's Freedom of Information Office.
Interested persons may submit written comments on the standards enumerated in the BHC Act (12 U.S.C. 1842(c)). Comments are subject to public disclosure and should not contain confidential information. All comments must be received at the Reserve Bank of Kansas City, 1 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64198-0001, or electronically to the protected email address, no later than September 30, 2026. The notice lists a single application: Novus Capital Holdings, Inc., Edmond, Oklahoma, seeking to become a bank holding company by acquiring Novus Bank, a de novo bank located in Edmond, Oklahoma.
