IRS Advisory Council Schedules Virtual Public Meeting for Sept 10

The Internal Revenue Service announced that the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council will hold a public meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. The meeting will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Members of the public who plan to attend must register by September 8, 2026, by contacting Anna Millikan at 202-317-6564 or by email. Attendees are encouraged to join at least five minutes before the start of the meeting.

The agenda, to be posted on the IRSAC web page at www.irs.gov/irsac, may cover enhancements to IRS operations; administrative and policy changes to improve taxpayer experience, compliance and tax administration; information-reporting issues; and matters concerning tax-exempt and government entities.

Written statements germane to the Council's work may be submitted by email to the same address by September 8, 2026.
