On October 22, 2026, The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC filed a proposed rule change with the Securities and Exchange Commission under Release No. 34-106783; File No. SR-NASDAQ-2026-093. The filing, announced in a notice dated October 30, 2026 (FR Doc No. 2026-22456), seeks immediate effectiveness to amend the Exchange's transaction fees at Equity 7, Sections 115 and 130.

The amendment deletes references to the CORE FIX order entry protocol. Specifically, Equity 7, Section 115(f)(1) will have the reference and associated $575 per month per port fee removed, along with notes "1" and "**". Likewise, Equity 7, Section 130(d)(1)(B) will have the reference to note "1" and the $300 per port per month testing facility fee eliminated.

The Exchange states the purpose is to remove obsolete language after abandoning plans to deploy CORE FIX. The statutory basis cited is Section 6(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, including subsections (4) and (5), which require equitable allocation of reasonable dues, fees, and charges.

The proposal does not alter any currently available service, pricing, or functionality. Deleting the unused fee language applies uniformly to all members and market participants and is intended to simplify the fee schedule without imposing any new burden on competition.
