Nasdaq PHLX deletes CORE FIX fee references from Equity 7 schedule
Effective Oct. 22, 2026, the change removes $400, $25 and $300 per-port fees and related waiver language for the unused CORE FIX protocol, applying to all PHLX participants.

On October 22, 2026 Nasdaq PHLX LLC filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission a proposed rule change under Section 19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 19b-4, with immediate effectiveness, to amend the Exchange's transaction fees at PHLX Equity 7, Section 3, by deleting obsolete references to the CORE FIX order entry protocol.
The amendment deletes three fee entries: the $400 per month, per port production fee for CORE FIX and its associated "Temporary 30-Day Fee Waiver for CORE FIX Ports" note; the $25 per month, per port disaster recovery fee for CORE FIX; and the $300 per month, per port testing facility fee for CORE FIX along with its waiver note.
The Exchange states the purpose is to remove references to a protocol it will not deploy, consistent with Section 6(b) of the Act, which seeks an equitable allocation of reasonable dues, fees, and charges among market participants.
The Exchange asserts that the deletions do not alter the availability, pricing, or functionality of any service, apply uniformly to all members and participants, and simply make the fee schedule clearer and easier to administer without imposing any burden on competition.
The full text of the proposed rule change is available on the Exchange's website at https://listingcenter.nasdaq.com/rulebook/phlx/rulefilings and at its principal office. The Commission is soliciting comments from interested persons as provided in the notice.
