Nasdaq GEMX, LLC filed a proposed rule change on August 24, 2026 to amend the implementation date of SR-GEMX-2026-15. The amendment moves the deadline from "on or before Q3 2026" to "on or before November 10, 2026." The filing became effective immediately under Section 19(b)(3)(A)(iii) of the Securities Exchange Act and Rule 19b-4(f)(6).

The exchange states that the delay provides additional weeks needed to complete technology development and testing for the auction and price-improvement mechanisms covered by SR-GEMX-2026-15. No substantive changes to the rule are proposed, and the exchange will issue an Options Trader Alert to members announcing the specific implementation date.

GEMX asserts that the amendment imposes no new burden on intra- or inter-market competition and notes that no written comments were solicited or received. The SEC may temporarily suspend the rule change within 60 days of filing if it deems such action necessary.

Comments on the proposal must reference file number SR-GEMX-2026-31 and be submitted by September 18, 2026, either electronically via the SEC's comment form or in paper form to the SEC's Washington, DC office.
