NYSE Arca adds 4 kW Partial Cabinet Solution bundle to co-location services
All NYSE Arca co-location users can access the new 4 kW PCS bundle effective immediately upon the August 26, 2026 filing.

On August 26, 2026 NYSE Arca, Inc. filed a proposed rule change (Release No. 34-106301; File No. SR-NYSEARCA-2026-89) that the Securities and Exchange Commission has deemed immediately effective. The filing, announced in a September 9, 2026 notice, seeks to amend the Exchange's Connectivity Fee Schedule under Section 19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 19b-4.
The amendment adds a 4 kW Partial Cabinet Solution (PCS) bundle, designated as Option B, alongside the existing 2 kW PCS bundle (Option A). Option A will retain a $10,000 initial charge and $16,500 monthly fee, while Option B will be priced at $12,000 initially and $19,000 per month. The change also updates the terminology in the existing bundle from "Precision Timing Protocol" to "Precision Time Protocol" to align with the rest of the Fee Schedule.
Qualification for either PCS bundle requires a User to purchase only one bundle, certify that neither the User nor its Affiliates currently hold a PCS bundle, and ensure that the aggregate cabinet footprint after purchase does not exceed 2 kW for Option A or 4 kW for Option B. Users must certify affiliate status and aggregate footprint at the time of purchase.
The Exchange states the amendment will apply uniformly to all PCS bundles and all Users, with no differential treatment based on participant type or size. It anticipates only a handful of new Users will adopt the 4 kW bundle, and emphasizes that participation in any colocation service remains voluntary.
The Exchange asserts the rule change is consistent with Section 6(b) of the Act and furthers the objectives of Section 6(b)(5), aiming to promote equitable practices in the market infrastructure.
