OFAC adds Bluwaves Properties Limited to SDN List, blocks all U.S. jurisdiction property
Bluwaves Properties Limited, a Virgin Islands entity, is blocked as of August 7 2026; U.S. persons may not transact with it.
On August 7, 2026, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated Bluwaves Properties Limited, a Virgin Islands company (registration number 2056404, established March 5, 2021), for blocking under the authority of Executive Order 13850. The designation cites the entity's involvement in the oil sector of the Venezuelan economy.
All property and interests in property of Bluwaves Properties Limited that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are now blocked. U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in any transactions with the designated entity.
