OFAC adds new individuals to SDN List, blocking U.S.-jurisdiction assets
U.S. persons prohibited from dealing with listed individuals effective September 9, 2026
On September 9, 2026, the Office of Foreign Assets Control issued a notice (FR Doc 2026-18641) publishing the names of one or more persons placed on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List).
The notice states that all property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of these persons are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them. The action is taken under the authority of Executive Order 13581, as amended.
