OFAC adds new individuals to SDN List, blocks U.S.-jurisdiction assets
U.S. persons must refrain from transactions with the listed individuals; their assets under U.S. jurisdiction are blocked as of September 8 2026.
On September 8, 2026 the Office of Foreign Assets Control issued a notice publishing the names of one or more persons placed on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List after determining that applicable legal criteria were satisfied. All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of these persons are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them.
The notice appears in the Federal Register, Volume 91, Number 177, pages 58550-58558, FR Doc No. 2026-18909, filed September 14, 2026. The action cites the authorities of Executive Order 13224, as amended, and Executive Order 13902.
