Proclamation 11056, issued on August 18, 2026, suspends for a period of 3 days the additional ad valorem duties imposed in Proclamations 11046, 11047, and 11048. The suspension binds the head of each executive department and agency, to the extent consistent with law, to take all appropriate steps to implement the proclamation.

The effective date of the duties is amended from August 19, 2026, to 12:01 a.m. eastern time on August 22, 2026, by deleting the former date and inserting the new one in the chapeau of Annex II of each prior proclamation.

The Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, in consultation with the Secretaries of the Treasury and Commerce, the United States Trade Representative, the Chairman of the United States International Trade Commission, and other senior officials, will determine whether any further modifications to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States are required and will issue such changes through notice in the Federal Register. Refunds of duties collected, if any, shall be processed pursuant to applicable law and CBP's standard procedures.

The President relies on authority granted by section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930 and section 604 of the Trade Act of 1974. Any provision of previous proclamations or Executive Orders inconsistent with this proclamation is superseded to the extent of the inconsistency.
