SEC acknowledges ICE Futures U.S. registration as national securities exchange
ICE Futures U.S., Inc. is now recognized as a national securities exchange for security futures products, effective September 30 2026.

The Securities and Exchange Commission issued an acknowledgement on October 1, 2026 that it has received a Form 1-N filed by ICE Futures U.S., Inc. The filing satisfies the requirements of Section 6(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 for an exchange that trades only security futures products.
Under Section 6(g)(2)(B) the exchange's registration as a national securities exchange becomes effective at the moment the written notice is submitted. Accordingly, ICE Futures' registration is effective September 30, 2026, the date the Form 1-N was filed.
The notice cites the statutory conditions that must be met: the exchange must be a board of trade designated a contract market by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and must not serve as a marketplace for securities other than security futures products or related futures and options. ICE Futures meets those criteria.
Copies of the Form 1-N and its exhibits are posted on the SEC website at https://www.sec.gov/rules-regulations/commission-orders-notices/other-commission-orders-notices-information. The filing is identified as FR Doc 2026-20409, Release No. 34-106567, File No. 10-256.
