IEX Files Immediate Rule Change to Set Options Fee Schedule
IEX Options members and other market participants will be subject to a new non-transaction fee schedule starting Oct. 2, 2026.

On September 10, 2026, Investors Exchange LLC (IEX) filed a proposed rule change with the Securities and Exchange Commission under IEX Rules 15.110(a) and (c). The filing, identified as Release No. 34-106480; File No. SR-IEX-2026-32, is effective upon filing and will become operative on October 2, 2026.
The rule change establishes a separate Fee Schedule for IEX Options, covering non-transaction fees for Options Members and other participants that use the Exchange's products and services. The schedule will be distinct from the existing IEX Equities Fee Schedule and includes a Preface, sections on Trading Permit and Premium Product Fees, Connectivity Fees, Market Data Fees, and Additional Fees that incorporate FINRA registration and processing fees and CAT Funding Fees.
The proposal provides an initial discount on Trading Permit and Premium Product fees: 100% off for the first three calendar months of IEX Options operations and 50% off for months four through six. A billing-dispute provision requires participants to submit written disputes with supporting documentation within 60 days of receiving an invoice.
Definitions for terms such as "Clearing Member," "Market Maker," "MPID," and "Order Entry Firms" are included at the beginning of the schedule, cross-referencing the relevant Exchange Rules. The full text of the proposed rule change and the fee schedule are available on IEX's website and at its principal office.
The Commission is publishing this notice to solicit comments from interested persons on the proposed rule change.
