NYSE amends colocation fee schedule to rename data feeds
The change applies to NYSE and its affiliate exchanges' colocation services, effective immediately upon filing on September 2 2026.
On September 2, 2026 the New York Stock Exchange LLC filed a proposed rule change (file SR-NYSE-2026-42) to amend the Connectivity Fee Schedule for colocation services. The amendment updates the lists in Colocation Note 4 and Colocation Note 5 to replace the placeholder names "CTA" and "CQ" with the actual data-feed names "CTS" and "CQS".
The Exchange characterizes the amendment as a non-substantive change; it does not alter the data feeds themselves or their inclusion as Included Data Products or as feeds available over the NMS network. The revision is intended to avoid confusion ahead of the April 1 2027 transition of the CTS and CQS feeds to the new "CT Plan".
The filing cites Section 6(b)(5) of the Securities Exchange Act as the statutory basis, asserting that the amendment promotes transparency and protects investors. It also states that the proposal imposes no additional burden on competition under Section 6(b)(8).
Because the amendment does not significantly affect investor protection, the public interest, or competition, it became effective immediately pursuant to Section 19(b)(3)(A)(iii) of the Act and Rule 19b-4(f)(6). The Commission may, within 60 days of filing, temporarily suspend the rule change if deemed necessary.
