On October 14, 2026 NYSE Arca, Inc. filed a proposed rule change with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing, identified as Release No. 34-106721; File No. SR-NYSEARCA-2026-104, was published in the Federal Register (Vol. 91, No. 205, pages 67351-67356) on October 21, 2026.

The exchange proposes to modify the NYSE Arca Options Fee Schedule for manual transactions. Specifically, the fee for market-maker manual executions in non-penny issues would increase from $0.50 to $0.90 per contract, and then to $1.00 per contract effective November 1, 2026.

In addition, the exchange seeks to establish a rebate of $0.20 per contract payable to floor-broker orders that trade with market-maker orders on the trading floor. For floor brokers participating in the FB Prepay Program, the proposed rebate would replace any rebates earned through the Manual Billable Rebate Program.

The exchange states the purpose is to align its fee structure with comparable exchanges and to incentivize floor-broker participation on the trading floor. It notes that in August 2026 manual volume in non-penny issues represented 35% of total manual volume, and that market-maker participation in non-penny issues rose from 18% to 39% after earlier fee adjustments.

The Commission is publishing this notice to solicit comments from interested persons on the proposed rule change.
