NYSE Arca revises options port fees effective Sept. 17, 2026

The fee change applies to OTP Holders and OTP Firms using Order/Quote Entry Ports, with new monthly tiers ranging from $510 to $250 per port, effective Sept. 17, 2026.

On September 23, 2026, NYSE Arca, Inc. filed a proposed rule change with the SEC (Release No. 34-106477; File No. SR-NYSEARCA-2026-100) to modify its Options Fee Schedule. The filing states that the amendment will be effective September 17, 2026 and is being published for comment.

The amendment revises the monthly port fees for Order/Quote Entry Ports as follows: Ports 1-40 - $510 per port per month; Ports 41-300 - $170 per port per month; Ports 301-1000 - $250 per port per month; Ports 1001 and greater - $510 per port per month.

NYSE Arca explains that ports consume a finite shared capacity and that the incremental fees for ports above 300 reflect the additional infrastructure, staffing, and capacity required to support higher usage, thereby encouraging OTP Holders and OTP Firms to size their port usage efficiently.

The Exchange notes that its proposed fees remain lower than comparable fees at Cboe, PHLX, and Nasdaq. For example, Cboe charges $750 for the 1st to 5th FIX Logical Port and $800 for the 6th or more FIX Logical Port; PHLX's FIX port fee is $650 and its SQF port fee is $1,185; Nasdaq's FIX port fee is $650. Under the new tiers, NYSE Arca's fees for ports 301-1,000 ($250) and ports over 1,001 ($510) are below the $800 and $650 rates charged by Cboe and Nasdaq, respectively.

The notice invites comments from interested persons, and the filing and supporting statements are available on NYSE Arca's website and at its principal office.
