Nasdaq PHLX adopts immediate rule change to reflect Nasdaq Texas name
The change updates Nasdaq PHLX's rulebook references to Nasdaq Texas, LLC, effective upon filing on September 18, 2026.

On September 30, 2026 the Securities and Exchange Commission published a notice that Nasdaq PHLX LLC filed a proposed rule change on September 18, 2026 (File No. SR-PHLX-2026-58). The filing seeks conforming amendments to several PHLX rules to reflect the affiliate's conversion from Nasdaq BX, Inc. to Nasdaq Texas, LLC.
The amendments replace one reference to "Nasdaq BX, Inc." in Rule General 8 (Connectivity), one reference to "Nasdaq BX" in NASDAQ PSX Rule 3304 (Data Feeds Utilized), two references in NASDAQ PSX Rule 3315 (Order Routing), two references in Equity 4 Rule 3315 (Order Routing), seventeen references in Equity 7 Section 3 (Nasdaq PSX Fees), and one reference in Options 7 Section 9 (Other Member Fees) with the new name "Nasdaq Texas, LLC."
The Commission waived the standard 30-day operative delay under Section 19(b)(3)(A)(iii) of the Act and Rule 19b-4(f)(6)(iii), designating the amendment operative upon filing. No written comments were received, and interested parties may submit comments through October 26, 2026.
The exchange characterizes the change as non-substantive and solely intended to improve clarity and reduce potential confusion, stating it does not impose any burden on competition.
