Federal Reserve Issues Change-in-Control Notice for Dunlap Trust Acquisition

Comments on the Dunlap Trust's proposed purchase of County Bank Shares must be filed by Aug. 12, 2026.

The Federal Reserve System released a notice (FR Doc 2026-15214, filed July 27, 2026) announcing applications under the Change in Bank Control Act and Regulation Y to acquire shares of a bank or bank holding company.

The public portions of the applications are available for inspection at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and the Board of Governors' offices; expedited copies can be requested via the Board's FOIA office.

The sole listed applicant is the Gregory A. Dunlap Revocable Trust, with co-trustees Gregory and Jessica Dunlap of Milford, Nebraska, seeking to join the Dunlap Family Control Group to acquire voting shares of County Bank Shares, Inc., thereby indirectly acquiring voting shares of Farmers and Merchants Bank, both of Milford, Nebraska. Gregory Dunlap previously received approval to acquire voting shares of County Bank Shares, Inc.

Interested parties may submit written comments on the standards in paragraph 7 of the Act to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (Jeffrey Imgarten, Assistant Vice President) or to the Board of Governors, Benjamin W. McDonough, Secretary of the Board, Washington, DC, no later than August 12, 2026. Electronic comments may be sent to the protected email address provided.
