Federal Reserve posts change-in-control notice for Anderson family share purchase

The Anderson Family Group's proposed acquisition of voting shares in F&M Bancshares, Inc. is open for public comment through August 14, 2026.

The Federal Reserve System published a Change in Bank Control notice on July 30, 2026 (FR Doc No: 2026-15367). The notice concerns applications filed under the Change in Bank Control Act (12 U.S.C. 1817(j)) and Sec. 225.41 of Regulation Y (12 CFR 225.41) to acquire shares of a bank or bank holding company.

The public portions of the applications, and any related filings required by the Board, are available for immediate inspection at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, 1 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64198-0001, and at the offices of the Board of Governors. Interested persons may also request expedited access from the Board's Freedom of Information Office.

The sole application listed identifies the JVA Inheritance Trust for Terry V. Anderson, the JVA Inheritance Trust for John T. Anderson, the JVA Inheritance Trust for Barry L. Anderson, and the JVA Inheritance Trust for Patti J. Rains, each acting as trustee, joining the Anderson Family Group to acquire voting shares of F&M Bancshares, Inc., Crescent, Oklahoma, and thereby indirectly acquire voting shares of F&M Bank, Edmond, Oklahoma. The trustees were previously permitted to acquire voting shares of F&M Bancshares, Inc. in their individual capacities.

Comments on the application must be submitted to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (Jeffrey Imgarten, Assistant Vice President) or to the Board of Governors, Benjamin W. McDonough, Secretary of the Board, 20th Street and Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20551-0001, no later than August 14, 2026. Comments are subject to public disclosure and will generally be made available without alteration, except for removal of personal or business identifying information.
