Federal Reserve opens comment period on Holloway Family bank share acquisition
The Holloway Family Control Group's proposed acquisition of voting shares in Santa Fe Trail Banc Shares, Inc. and Centera Bank is open for public comment through Aug. 28, 2026.

The Federal Reserve System has published a Change in Bank Control notice for the Holloway Family Control Group, which includes David Holloway, Jacob Halloway, Brett Holloway, Matthew Holloway, and Brooke Molz. The group seeks to retain voting shares of Santa Fe Trail Banc Shares, Inc., and thereby indirectly retain voting shares of Centera Bank, both located in Sublette, Kansas. The applications were filed under the Change in Bank Control Act (12 U.S.C. 1817(j)) and Regulation Y, § 225.41 (12 CFR 225.41), with the factors for consideration set out in paragraph 7 of the Act.
All public portions of the applications and any related filings required by the Board are available for immediate inspection at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and at the Board of Governors' offices. Interested parties may also obtain the materials on an expedited basis by contacting the appropriate Reserve Bank or the Board's Freedom of Information Office.
Comments on the applications must be submitted in writing to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, addressed to Jeffrey Imgarten, Assistant Vice President, 1 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64198-0001, or electronically to the protected email address provided. Alternate submission to the Board of Governors, addressed to Benjamin W. McDonough, Secretary of the Board, 20th Street and Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20551-0001, is also permitted. The deadline for comments is August 28, 2026.
