Federal Reserve publishes change-in-control applications for Florida bank shares

The France Family Control Group's applications to retain voting shares of Commerce National Bankshares of Florida and Commerce Bank & Trust are open for comment through August 10, 2026.

The Federal Reserve Board announced that the notificants listed below have applied under the Change in Bank Control Act (12 U.S.C. 1817(j)) and Sec. 225.41 of Regulation Y (12 CFR 225.41) to acquire shares of a bank or bank holding company.

Sharon M. France, Jennifer F. Bates, Amy L. France and Jamison C. France, as members of the France Family Control Group, a group acting in concert, seek to retain voting shares of Commerce National Bankshares of Florida, Inc., and thereby indirectly retain voting shares of Commerce Bank & Trust, both of Winter Park, Florida.

Comments regarding each of these applications must be received at the Reserve Bank indicated or the offices of the Board of Governors, Benjamin W. McDonough, Secretary of the Board, 20th Street and Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20551-0001, not later than August 10, 2026. Comments are subject to public disclosure and should not include confidential information.

The public portions of the applications listed below, as well as other related filings required by the Board, if any, are available for immediate inspection at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, 1000 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30309, and at the offices of the Board of Governors. The information may also be obtained on an expedited basis by contacting the appropriate Federal Reserve Bank or the Board's Freedom of Information Office.
