IRS Extends Speaker Request Information Collection, Opens Comment Period
Business, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations may comment on the IRS Taxpayer Experience Office speaker request collection through Oct. 16, 2026.

The Internal Revenue Service announced an extension of the information collection for the Taxpayer Experience Office speaker request (OMB Control No. 1545-2320, Form 15424). The notice states there is no change to the previously approved collection.
Written comments must be received on or before Oct 16, 2026. Submissions should be directed to Andres Garcia, IRS, Room 6526, 1111 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20224, or by email, with "OMB Control No. 1545-2320" in the subject line. All comments will become part of the public record.
The collection targets business or other for-profit and not-for-profit institutions. The agency estimates 100 responses annually, each taking about 10 minutes, for a total annual burden of 17 hours. Commenters are invited to address the necessity of the collection, the accuracy of the burden estimate, ways to improve quality and clarity, methods to reduce respondent burden, and cost estimates.
