The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency published a notice on April 30 2026 (FR Doc No. 2026-08405) announcing a renewal request for the information collection titled "Reporting, Recordkeeping, and Disclosure Requirements Associated with Proprietary Trading and Certain Interests in and Relationships with Covered Funds." The collection bears OMB control number 1557-0309 and supports enforcement of Section 13 of the Bank Holding Company Act.

The OCC states the renewal does not alter the underlying regulation or reporting obligations. It applies to "Businesses or other for-profit" entities, specifically banking organizations with significant trading assets and liabilities that must submit quarterly metrics, retain records for at least five years, and provide CEO attestations as required by 12 CFR part 44.

Comments must be received by June 1 2026. Submissions may be sent by email, mail, hand delivery, or fax to the addresses listed in the notice and must reference "OCC" and control number "1557-0309." All comments will be posted on www.reginfo.gov and are subject to public disclosure.

The notice also directs commenters to the RegInfo website for the collection's supporting statement and related documents, and provides a contact for inquiries: Shaquita Merritt, Clearance Officer, (202) 649-5490.
