The Securities and Exchange Commission issued a notice on August 12, 2026 of an application filed on July 1, 2026 by Stone Point Credit Income Fund and Stone Point Credit Income Adviser, LLC. The applicants request an order exempting them from Sections 18(a)(2), 18(c), 18(i) and 61(a) of the Investment Company Act of 1940.

The exemption would permit certain registered closed-end investment companies that have elected to be regulated as business development companies to issue multiple classes of shares that carry different sales loads and asset-based distribution or service fees.

A hearing will be held only if the Commission receives a request by 5:30 p.m. Eastern time on September 7, 2026. Requests must be emailed to the SEC's Secretary, include the file number 812-16048, and be served on the applicants. Absent a hearing, the Commission will issue an order granting the requested relief.

The application and supporting legal analysis are available on the SEC's website and through the EDGAR system using the file number above. For further information, contact Rachel Loko, Senior Special Counsel, at (202) 551-6825. The notice was signed by Assistant Secretary Sherry R. Haywood.
