The Securities and Exchange Commission has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget a request to extend the previously approved collection of information for Form SF-1, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The notice, published on August 18, 2026, references OMB Control No. 3235-0707.

Form SF-1 (17 CFR 239.44) is a registration statement used by issuers of asset-backed securities to register a public offering under the Securities Act of 1933. The filing is mandatory and is posted on the Commission's EDGAR system. The Commission estimates that each response requires approximately 1,381.33 hours, with about 7 respondents filing annually. Internal effort accounts for 25 percent of the time - 345.33 hours per response - for a total annual reporting burden of 2,417 hours. The remaining 75 percent - 1,036 hours per response - is performed by outside professionals at an estimated rate of $600 per hour, creating an annual cost burden of $4,351,200.

The public may review the collection request at https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/PRAViewICR?ref_nbr=202604-3235-019 or submit comments by email to the address provided. Comments must be received within 30 days of the day after publication, that is, by September 18, 2026.

A collection of information may not be conducted or sponsored unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number, and a person is not required to respond to an invalid collection. The notice is dated August 14, 2026 and signed by Vanessa A. Countryman, Secretary of the Commission.
